Agency coordination is a central component of NEPA documentation and A.D. Marble & Company’s staff is expert at maintaining those vital relationships and communication throughout that process.

Natural Resource Investigations:
Our staff is highly experienced in all aspects of wetland investigations (delineation, permits, remediation, design, construction, and monitoring), threatened and endangered plant and animal species, aquatic investigations (surveys, bioengineering, fluvial geomorphological techniques in design), wildlife habitat, air, noise, and hazardous waste.

A.D. Marble & Company is known as a leader in the field of replacement wetland design and construction, having published "A Guide to Wetland Functional Design" (FHWA-ID-90-010). This book was written by staff employees and distributed nationwide.

Socioeconomic Investigations:

Engineering:
Engineering activities include erosion and sedimentation plans, stormwater management plans, wetland mitigation, stream restoration and noise barrier design. Use of CADD, GIS and GPS enhances efficiency and quality of these projects.

CADD/GIS Services:
The CADD and GIS systems allow for quick and accurate analysis of transportation project impacts, facilitating interative evaluation of alternatives during preliminary engineering and supporting selection of the preferred alternative. One of the GIS applications to be developed is the evaluation of transportation project impacts on biodiversity.

We maintain both the ArcInfo and ArcView 3.2a for our GIS systems and Bently System’s MicroStation SE with InRoads Select CAD8 Civil Engineering package, AutoCAD Release 13 with Softdesk Civil Engineering Bundle, and the AutoCAD 2000 Land Development Package on our CADD stations.
